Lax 2021 done!

Seniors!

We had a great lacrosse season. Made the SWC tournament as well as States. While we didn’t win any championships we fought hard and with a team that had half it’s starters as sophomores and didn’t even have a season last year we did well. We even made the news when we travelled 2 hours in the pouring rain to defeat Waterford in the play down round of States.

I had a very good season as team captain and I lead the team with 32 regular season goals and 38 total goals. Lead the team with 14 assists and was second (by 1) in draw controls with 33. During our academic and sports awards I was surprised when I was awarded the Athletics Director Award for my play and leadership on and off the field. I also won the Brookfield Lacrosse Club scholarship and the Presidential Education Award.

On signing day I was lucky to have my parents and my coach with me when I signed to play lacrosse and field hockey for Delaware Valley University!

Signing day!

This past weekend it all wrapped up with graduation! As with everything this year it was untraditional. It started with a car parade from our middle school to the high school. The town lined the road with people cheering us on. Once at the high school there was a walk through that had pictures of us from kindergarten and up, all the sports, our colleges and much more. It finished with a big surprise of our teachers from elementary school through high school greeting us one last time before we headed out to the field for our graduation ceremony.

While I will always cherish my time at Brookfield High I’m ready to start the next chapter at Delaware Valley University!
